Pet Shop second single release from "Fundamental" will be released on July 24 on three formats:

CD1:
1. Minimal (radio edit)
2. In private (Performed by Pet Shop Boys and Elton John) (Stuart Crichton 7")

CD2:
1. Minimal (radio edit)
2. Minimal (Tocadisco's Sunday at Space Remix)
3. Minimal (M Factor Remix)

DVD:
1. Minimal (Telex Hell mix)
2. Blue on blue
3. No time for tears (Unreleased 7-inch mix)
4. Minimal (video)

"In private" is the seven-inch mix of the track which appears in a longer mix on "Fundamentalism".

"Blue on blue" was written and recorded by Pet Shop Boys in 2003 (at the same time as "Luna Park" and "Casanova in Hell").

The mix of "No time for tears" was made by Tim Weidner at Sarm West studios last year when it was considered as a single release to promote the "Battleship Potemkin"
album.

The video was made in Paris, directed by Don Cameron. Unlike "I'm with Stupid", Neil and Chris feature heavily!

On July 27th, a limited-edition seven-inch, clear plastic vinyl single of "Minimal"/"In private" will be released.

Well, we don't know. I think they didn't record final studio versions, just demos.

I made a mistake and should have said Can you forgive her? and not Go West! I thought the second CDs of Jealousy and BB were German imports, which is why I also did not include London...

Awful tracklisting just DVD for me and that is for video and Blue On Blue

Fairly uninspired tracklisting unless the mixes are brilliant. It could be worse however; at least there are two additional mixes on the Japanese Fundamentalism. We could have really gotten hosed otherwise. The new track had better be worth recycling that Elton John rubbish.

At least the Tiga mix isn't on the physical issues..pfew...

true, but as it was promoting a B-sides album and wanted to highlight their 2 most famous flipside songs then they could just about get away with it, especially as P'95 was not on the album.

There is no excuse for using an edit of a Fundamentalism track as a main B-side to the second single off an album.

Too bad they took out the U-MYX thing from CD2, it could have been used to get a HQ acapella of the song.

However, it's good to see new remixes, 2 new edits of previous tracks (I'm curious about the NTFF one), and a new track (not a cover, like we feared).

Maybe the Superchumbo remixes, if they really exist, will be promo-only.

Let's hope that the video is good. It looks like it will be their first heavy appearence in a video since 'Nightlife' era.

Even if these "exclusive tracks" were released commercially, many fans would still be too tight to purchase from thier local record store. The price shows how much people want to pay for them, if they sell that is and I can't imagine people like you even willing to part with 77p for a download track.

...based entirely on the decision to jack up prices by refusing to release them as mass market items. It's basic economics. Putting exclusive tracks only on promos does nothing but increase piracy and line the pockets of those willing to gouge actual fans. One only has to look at the lack of demand for promos featuring the same tracks/sleeve as the commercial release to be aware of this.

I can't imagine people like you even willing to part with 77p for a download track.

You know nothing about me nor my financial situation and habits. Statements like this do nothing but make you look like an idiot.

I think the tracklisting is fine.

It's good to see we are back to 2 cds and a dvd.
