in Wayne's PSB Live Setlist Table, four tracks from album ''Please'' (''Two divided by zero'', ''Violence'', ''I want a lover'' and ''Why don't we live together'') are listed under category 'performed at one-time venues'
does anybody know where they performed it, on which TV shows
like when they did ''Tonight is forever'' on Tube and ''Later tonight'' on Whistle Test

I Want A Lover - August 6th 1985, ICA London
Why Dont We Live Together - September 28th 1985, Astoria, London
Violence - May 13th 1992, Hacienda, Manchester.
Have they ever done Two Divided By Zero live?

thanks!
it's from Gardner's site, there's no mentioning of ''Two divided by zero'' there but Wayne listed it anyway
maybe he'll post where he got that info from

I'm afraid I don't remember off the top of my head. I know I didn't make it up -- I must have gotten that information from somewhere, but perhaps my sometimes lax recordkeeping is now going to come back to haunt me.
If I can dig up the source of this information and where the Boys have played "Two Divided by Zero" live, I'll post be sure to post the info here. But I may not be able to come up with it, so I don't recommend holding our holding our breaths.

sorry Wayne, I checked again and you didn't add ''Two divided by zero'' to PSB live setlist table 'cause it probably wasn't ever performed live, I was mistaken
I knew you can't be wrong

Oh, I can be wrong -- a lot. It's just that I'm usually pretty quick about making the corrections when anyone catches me.
Thanks, and take care!

Any idea what these live versions sounded like/how live they were, etc? I'm presuming they were the album versions from backing tapes and soem live keyboards.
Fantastic bit of trivia though, I had no idea. Persoanly wish they would play Why can't we live together currently, its got such a great scat vocal disco wig out at the end-would sound great live.

I've got a question.
How come on the Please CD you have a track called Opportunities (Reprise)
Yet unlisted on one of the other formats?

If this question is for me and my website, it's because "Opportunities (Reprise)" is listed as a separate track on the CD (and elsewhere), but I don't provide a separate entry for it because, from my perspective, there's really not much to say about it aside from its very existence. However, in light of your question, I may go ahead and create a separate entry, even if it probably will be no more than two or three sentences long. I'll try to take care of that within the next day or two.
Thanks!

It was more just a question about Please.
I remembered the cassette is listed different to the CD. Why is that?

I don't have a copy of the Please cassette, so I'm only speculating about this. But often cassettes used to (or maybe still do -- do they even make cassettes anymore?) change the track order compared to LPs because of the logistic need for Side 1 of the cassette to be longer than Side 2, whereas it didn't make any difference on the LP. And since the CDs almost always followed the track order of the LP, that could explain a difference in the track listing of the cassette vs. the CD. But, again, this is merely a guess on my part.
Does anyone else here know more about this?

I think they have chosen to number the track on the CD because it would otherwise screw up the tracklisting.
