Are you really being serious or just moronic ?

Of course its true. I mean it was Neil who suggested to Patsy to run off with Jim Kerr in the first place and every pop diva knows that if their lives are to remain cancer free not to work with either Neil or Chris.

Tina obviously was such a small star before working with PSB that she only ever had one hit in her lifetime, but her retirement is down to Neil and Chris suggesting she was past it.

Liza was cuckoo before meeting Neil or Chris.

Cicero is still making music, albeit not signed and working for Mr Murdoch - but I believe that was Chris who got him that job when they sacked him from Spaghetti. Chris is great friends with Mr Murdoch and he was only to happy to give Dave a job in one of the call centres for SKY TV.

Bowie, I believe returned to Mars.

Rufus, well I believe he's laughing all the way to the bank with the returns he's getting at the moment.

I find the repeating 'curse of PSB' stories boring and irritating. Careers of artists aren't ruined by PSB.

How about that old lady on the show with Jay Leno where Chris stormed off stage.. that lady passed away when we were discussing it on the forums :D

oops, that is the curse of the PSB-forum :D

I used to think about "curse of Pet Shop Boys" that it's about strange coincidences between real persona/object' mishaps and oracular mentions in Neil's lyrics heretofore (Kings Cross, Princess Diana, Armani etc.), not about unenviable fate to some of their collaborators...
But if you want it, mr. Number One here, it's Pete Burns. You know, I mean this story about his lips and new collaboration that might have been (thanks, God!).
What do you mean about Bowie - "where is he now"?

not sure how it can be described as a curse what with they all pretty much have our money in their bank accounts.

I totally love your summing up of Tina Turner's career with "One hit with Bond Theme". Classic!

To be frank Liza, Dusty and Tina were at the end of their careers. Bowie is coasting the rest of his pop career.
Patsy was never gonna make it as a pop singer with her thin voice.
Kylie will have the biggest comeback when her new album is released.

There is no curse! I do not know why people love to bring that up.

Patsy Kensit - at the time of it's release - BIG hit! Could have been one of the Pets one!
Dusty - at the time of it's release - they were bringing an "yesterdays" star back into the business - even for those, who wasn't born when this star had her first hits!
Liza - just a great trick to get in touch with some of the biggest stars in musical business
Tina - a work which was demanded by a Lady, who had her biggest years in the 80s
Cicero - a test to start up with a second job
Bowie - a work for a all time favorite - an offer you never should reject
Kylie - an EMI wish which ended up in a prolific work
Rufus - it wasn't planned, but done by demand!

Tina Turner retired, didn't she? And Rufus's album made it to number two on the UK album charts; it certainly hasn't flopped.

Yeah, Tina's living in Swiss luxury whilst Bowie's living..uh, whatever private island he cares to rent when not living in luxury in NYC with his gorgeous wife Iman.
So silly.
