There three "new" psb songs floating about - luna park (demo), treachery and the sodom and gommorah show

they are FAKES !!!!! I have just heard them and they contain no vocals and are just instrumental tracks knocked togther in 5 mins

I have heared 2 of this demos. So, good news because both are horrible.

i dont listen to anything but the album that i will buy in 2006.

It amazes me that people actually bother to knock together a shit demo which sounds 'electro-esque', and pop it on as a fake.

Yes, you've really got to have some serious time on your hands to want to do that. It's not exactly malicious either, is it? Does anybody care?

I miss the days when you would hear a new PSB or any other single for the first time when it was first on the radio! Then you wouldn't be able to have a copy until it was released. You had to wait for an album to actually be released before you heard the tracks!

I remember excitedly waiting for 'Before' to be played on the radio, and listening to 'Bilingual' all the way through at a friend's house after a trip to the shops on the day of release to buy it. Ah.

I wholeheartedly agree. I wish PSB would be as good as JK Rowling at keeping their album a secret till the day of its release.

Too true, the net has totally ruined the element of surprise, we(well most of us) download and store, but i for one dont get the same buzz that i did when i bought a 12 inch or an album on vynal. Its a shame really.

The same "Treachery" file emerged some days ago as a supposed demo of "Hung up", (the new Madonna single), too. But it actually is the instrumental version of "Energy", a song of Nusa Nerenda, an Eurovision singer.

I don't know about the other two songs, though,

I like getting little sneak previews via the internet. this is a whole new era. being surprised by hearing a song on the radio for the first time seems outdated.
I would rather excitedly click on a mp3 file a month before the actual single comes out. but thats just me.

Downloading is immoral.

I couldn't agree with you more, Harry. There's something special about hearing a new PSB song for the first time on the radio, to the point where I can actually remember where I was and what I was doing during 'first plays' of the past. The most vivid is 'Before' - I actually missed the first ever play of it by Mark Goodier as I had gone to the refectory at uni for dinner and he had already played it by the time I got back, so I was extremely annoyed - but about three weeks later Nicky Campbell introduced it while I was in the bath and I remember soaking the floor as I rushed to turn the radio up in the kitchen.

Ah, I miss those days - now, of course, I cheer whenever PSB are played at all on radio, such is its rarity nowadays.

I'm not a big fan of sneak internet previews, to be honest. If the Official Site posts a track then I'll listen to it simply because of the lack of radio support but I won't do so more than twice. But otherwise I'm always happy to wait until the day of release.

Ditto Simon Bates and Go West. It doesn't get much more camp than that.

Good that they´re not official. I don´t see the point of listening to the new songs nearly a year before it´s release.

I also think it´s better to wait for the official release... Maybe the PSB themselves are the ones who are spreading these fake versions!!
