do you think guys that there will be changes in the setlist during ROH concerts ?
Your life's a mystery, mine is an open book. If I could read your mind, I think I'd take a look.

There hasn't been on any other leg of the tour, other than the slightly shortened sets for festivals so doubtful there will be there.ChrisLove wrote: Tue 23 Jul 2024, 11:16 pm do you think guys that there will be changes in the setlist during ROH concerts ?

A fun night at the Opera House! The set list was the same except with dancers. I think in Brum and Manchester the three new singles were sang one after another. Tonight, a song (I think it was New York city boy) was insterted after Dancing Star and before A New Bohemia. A rather unpleasant gentleman sat behind me told me off for having my phone light on. I think he just wanted me to sit quietly. (I won't tell you what I called him afterwards.) Michael Portillo and his mates were there enjoying a drink in the bar afterwards. And I'm sure it was Ronnie Corbett sat near us in the bar, but I was assured that this could not be the case.

Glad you had a fun evening. However, as you say, it's unlikely to have been Ronnie Corbett as he's still dead..Gnomic wrote: Wed 24 Jul 2024, 2:22 am A fun night at the Opera House! There is beauty in ugliness and ugliness in beauty.

You had the same set as Manchester. Festivals get the shorter set without New York City boy and Jealousy.Gnomic wrote:A fun night at the Opera House! The set list was the same except with dancers. Haha yeah sounds like that guy was a bigger Erasure fan than PSB! Either way, glad you had a great time at the show

Great night with great people, was fab to meet (and have a brilliant laugh) with Petshopgrrl all the way from the USA. I also had a torch grump in front of me for ANB, didn't really catch on like Berlin last night!
The lady beside me last night is frantically trying to find a return as she had such a great time.
I was in the amphitheatre and there was plenty of chair dancing but no widespread standing until It's A Sin (all rise for the National Anthem!)
Looks like plenty of space in the mosh pit, I'll confirm after tonight.

The 'mosh pit' is the orchestra pit and it's limited to about 80 people. I've been standing in it twice, plenty of space on each occasion. Very civilised for a mosh pit!

Yep, it's even listed as 'mosh pit standing' on the ROH seat map, which tickled me. Feel like I might get jabbed in the eye with a violin bow.
(As opposed to getting dunted in the back of the head by a trombone slide, which happened fairly regularly in our *terrible* school orchestra).

Do they still play babel pre show and what's the curtain rise sequence eg does curtain go up during opening of Suburbia or before?

Anyone at ROH last night in Stalls able to advise what the stand/sit situation was? I've seen some video's and pics online and from what I can see, it was standing all the way...which is personally my preference. Bit worried I'll end up having to sit down for fear of upsetting those who decide to remain seated behind (I'm Row B Friday & Sat by some miracle
)

Since he's been dead for eight years, whoever assured you was probably right - unless the resurrectionists are back in town.TallThinMan wrote: Wed 24 Jul 2024, 8:39 amYeah, he was an Erasure fanGnomic wrote: Wed 24 Jul 2024, 2:22 am And I'm sure it was Ronnie Corbett sat near us in the bar, but I was assured that this could not be the case.![]()
