Love the album and 'Feel' is probably my favourite track. Sincere and moving. Just seems to be everything in one great track. Its a bit Kraftwerk by numbers...sorry Numbers by Kraftwerk :-)

Sorry my humour is a little silly/warped as I kept thinking of funny/alternative things with the songs while out walking.

Lonely Ness - about the last Loch Ness Monster in Scotland
The Eurovision Flop Carnival - a celebration of the songs and acts that just didn't make it
I'll Cut That Mullet With Some Scissors - a despondent hairdresser tries to get rid of Pat Sharp's hairdo in 1989

Anyway I'll be off to read Annually and Classic Pop Vol 2 tonight and tomorrow...

:D :)

Alex Metric, has announced on twitter that he is remixing something for PSB, unlikely that it is A New Bohemia, so maybe a fourth single or another track from Nonetheless that will appear in remix form on the A New Bohemia, single package ?

Does anyone know why the song Sense of time is credited to Pet Shop Boys and Neil Tennant? At least on Spotify it is.

Good news, he did a more than decent job on Personal Jesus back in 2011:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

I can't imagine any of the remaining Nonetheless tracks remixed (maybe Feel?). But I could totally see a Clean Air Hybrid Electric Bus (Alex Metric Remix).

Malik Imran, a Parlophone PR/Creative has posted a congratulations to the boys and the team at Parlo on Insta, which ended with this:

‘Massive love for Neil, Chris, Angela, Charlie, @paul_baines, @jivorytowers & the entire @parlophone team. We've got one more incredible gem coming your way soon... and trust me, it's going to be legendary!’

That last sentence is intriguing. Could just be referring to the Bohemia single/video, I guess, but who knows?

See full post below, which also features some cool being the scenes photos/video.

I wonder if this is 'Adrenaline' ? The only track they recorded with Ford that didn't make the album, or possibly the full 'Miserere'????

My prediction.

Feel will be the new soundtrack for the new James Bond film. It's already got it all covered. Taylor Wood's husband will be playing the role of Bond. The arrangement will be slightly altered, but Tennant will sing it.

I'm still pushing for a remix of "...Narcissus" featuring Peter Hook.

I'm a VERY amateur bass player and even I managed to come up with a half decent Hooky sounding bass accompaniment to this within a half hour. The riff on the track is super easy to replicate too.

It's strange, the first pic of the new era came from this video shooting, yet it was neither for the first or second single.
Quite intriguing.

Thanks for posting! That opening image is so intense! And I love the Picture Post anti-portrait! I wonder if that can find itself somewhere.

Side 1 is perfect,

Side 2 is way more patchy. A new Bohemia is gorgeous, but how this is deemed a single and not New London boy is staggering. It's like choosing Memory of the future - a good album track, but awful single choice - over A face like that.

I liked the secret of happiness but I"m afraid it's too easy to start thinking about other stuff half way through and you realise you've not been listening.

It'll be interesting to hear Adrenaline and why it was not included on the album.

I hate the album. I give it half a star out of five. There's no good sound in it. It's Off of the PSB. This might destroy their career. And it looks like 'Love' needs to be punished.... that's good for me. I will win more for myself. The Furthermore music isn't bad. The PSB should've produced their music to make it sound good. Not that it makes any difference.
