Totally agree, although fair play to them for trying to continue without him.DJ_Couture wrote:Genesis- Congo
Great song. Shame it didn't get very far because the lead singer didn't have P in his initials.

DeVotchaKa- How it Ends
The Gears Of War 2 tune. It's fab.... reminds me a bit of Morten Harket from A-ha's voice in places.

Re: 12/08 Listening Thread
Most people close to the band have always said Tony Banks is the driving force behind Genesis, and I'm inclined to agree. The album got to No.2 in the UK (held off only by Oasis' mega-hyped anti-climax Be Here Now) and even though it sold peanuts compared to most Genesis albums it sold more than any Banks solo albums and most Mike and the Mechanics albums so it was well worth doing. I think the tour though was a bit of a disaster, and that's probably the main reason they called it a day.Fugitive1979 wrote:Totally agree, although fair play to them for trying to continue without him.DJ_Couture wrote:Genesis- Congo

Pet Shop Boys, Disco 3
And everything about tonight feels right and so young
And anything I'd want to say out loud will be sung
It's in the music...
