Well Yes is hanging in there, and was up to #170 from #194 in last weeks UK Album chart. So the chart run now looks like...

I've noticed it has reappeared in the iTunes album chart as well, up to about #145 last night. It's also reappeared in the Amazon top100 for the past few days, dithering around #60. And as an aside, PopArt seems to have become an unexpected top10 hit on the Amazon digital album chart for some strange reason.

It's selling on Amazon again, presumably because they dropped the price of the single cd to five quid.

I believe digital album sales count toward the main chart in the US and I assume it would be the same everywhere. I wouldn't mind another copy of "PopArt" for that low a price (although I'm not sure what 29p is in US....double?).

This week sees Yes climb from #170 to #149 in it's 13th week in the UK Top200. It's chart run now looks like:

Did You See Me Coming? drops from #85 to #128, which frankly is not as bad as I'd have expected. I thought it possible it might disappear out of the Top200 altogether.

Now that the Pandamonium tour has headed to Europe and Did you see me coming?? has more or less had it's run, I imagine Yes will start to fall again next week and will more than likely be out of the Top200 in a couple of weeks. Still, it's been a pretty good run compared to Fundamental, and depending on whether there is a third single, might have more legs in it yet.

It was sad to see the album in HMV as part of it's 2 for £10 range already....

Amazon are already selling it for 5 quid on its own.

Do we know the sales for that run?
I'd have thought from numbers 150-200 wouldn't be much more than 500-800 weekly sales, going on current general figures.
I know they've shipped Silver (60,000), but actual units sold...? I'd say 58-60,000

Probably about right. The first 4 weeks would have been around 50,000.

Yes hangs on to its place in the Top200 this week by the skin of its teeth, falling #149 to #200.
After 14 weeks the chart run reads: 4-21-43-57-79-116-117-105-163-189-194-170-149-200

No doubt the avalanche of MJ albums didn't help matters. Unless it does an about face I guess this will be its last appearance, at least for the time being.

Well as expected Yes sadly disappeared from the UK Top200 album chart a couple of weeks ago and hasn't reappeared since. But last week Discography popped it's head back in by entering at #175. This is it's 2009 chart run so far:

137 > 98 > 129 > OUT... > 149 > 136 > 165 > OUT ... > 185 > OUT... > 175

I guess the latest appearance may have had something to do with the recent festival dates in the UK.

Surely anyone who likes pop/ dance/ electronic music should own a copy of Discography.
Is there anyway of making its ownership compulsory?
