Everybody I've spoken to (UK and abroad) who's received their replacement says it was addressed to the wrong town/city. I'm suspecting they got them all wrong and that's why there are so many delays and missing packages.

No, I bought it from Amazon, but wasn't asked for a receipt.

I'm trying to look for the confirmation email in my mailbox, do you know what's the email address that sent it?

It's arrived in Berlin and other parts of Germany.

I bought from Amazon.

Fair play to them for sorting this out. We may have had to wait, but they made it very easy for people otherwise. A nice gesture.

mgkoeln wrote: Sat 10 Feb 2024, 12:17 pm After having waited three months I wrote a nice eMail last week (answering directly to the "Thank you for your patience"-mail from November 3rd) asking them to check if my replacement copy had been sent to the correct address. They immediately sent out a new one - arriving today (being shipped to Germany directly from Germany).

So, I'm happy now - owning "Being nude" and "Being censored"... :-)

EDIT: As JTL (one post below) got theirs in Germany today as well, getting mine might not have to do with my eMail at all - or it made them check all German shipments. We'll probably never know...
Just sent an email per your suggestion. Let's see what happens...

Has anyone in Australia got their replacement yet?

No. But then I have little faith that things they send will actually arrive. My first attempt to order the Relentless bundle from the UK store (after missing out on the Australian bundles, because they'd run out by 9am!) disappeared into the ether and I had to get a refund. Next attempt worked, thankfully.

Was the town/city addressed correctly?

Yes, my shipment to Colgne, Germany, was addressed correctly (and sent with a German post mark).

But as I said: I wrote to Parlophone a few days earlier and specifically asked them to check if my shipment had been adressed correctly mentioning all these mix-ups reported here.

I didn't get a response to my mail. So having at least two shipments arrive in Germany a few days later might be a) pure coincidence having nothing to do with my mail or b) an instant reaction to my mail affecting also other shipments being finally sent out correctly.

Nope. It was addressed to a town in Saxony, called Freiberg. It clearly only got here to Berlin because of the post code. Every Mistake Imaginable. Impressive that it got here at all.

If -in Germany- the street (and it's house number) fit the post code, the city name doesn't matter - it will went directly to the post code. Even if the city is Ankara or Beirut...

Problem could be if you have a very same street and house number in Freiberg or Berlin... Then German parcel services will have a meltdown

Your thoughts...
Do you think the discs will be individually shipped (more costly) from Europe to each recipient or bulk shipped (more economical) to the destination country and then forwarded by the record company to each recipient?
I guess it might depend on how many there are?

My guess would be they'd ship a bunch to a distribution centre in the EU and send individually from there. Same for North America and so on.

I'm in logistics and if it was me, that's what I'd do. Got to be cheaper ultimately.
