Not being particularly good is probably why.

It's a masterpiece. Gives a whole new meaning to the song. It's sort of what Neil never dared to do, sing it from a perspective of a northern worker migrant stuck in London.

Because it’s not been announced yet?

The overall chart is bollocks, just xmas songs. The physical looks more natural.

Happy to see Last Christmas as nr 1. It's one for the ages, it will be played for centuries if human civilisation survives.

To be honest, singles charts are giving some Christmas songs the Number 1 they deserved. I remember when All I Want for Christmas is You didn't get the top of the chart when it was released for the first time. I thought it was unfair because the song was great (after so many listenings you can hate it but anyway it's an amazing song), just the same you can say about Last Christmas that was the most popular and best selling Number 2 in the UK's history until it became Number 1, now it's the Number 1 on Christmas. More of the same is happening with Rocking Around the Christmas Tree that was Number 1 in US.
I ask myself what had happened if PSB had released It Doesn't Often Snow at Christmas in the 80's like a single. Maybe the song would have got in the UK's chart in Christmas time.
By the way, the best selling single of all time is White Christmas, a Christmas song.
