So I just found out that a cinema in Barcelona, very close from where I work, is screening Dreamworld tomorrow, so I just bought tickets. Exciting day ahead!

I’m still the only one who’s bought advance tickets in my city for both dates. Am I the only PSB fan in Northern Ontario?

Possibly. It's pretty lonely down here in SW Ontario too though.

Really? I would have thought that the bigger cities like Toronto, London and Barrie would have a decent turnout, judging by the number of visible PSB fans who attended the Unity Tour in Toronto

.
Perhaps most will only be getting their tickets when they actually go to the theatre, as opposed to advanced purchase. Guess we’ll see. Come on, Ontario fans!

Can't speak for TO but in London both dates have sold 12 tickets each. Admittedly I am not one of those. I might go on Sunday afternoon but didn't want to pre-book in case the weather took a turn for the worse.

The lack of interest in the screening, worldwide, is so strange. Does anyone has an explaination for this?

Because most casual fans have just spent hundreds of £ and $ actually seeing them live in concert and probably just think ‘why would I pay to see it on a screen when I’ve just seen them for real?’
It’s only us die hard petheads that give a damn! It’s a shame there hasn’t been a lot of interest but at the end of the day PSB are not the same level of draw as Taylor Swift or Billie Eilish whose screenings sold out.

Wise words. Thanks for sharing them! I just hope you mean that PSB are 'next level' and play in another division than for example Billie Eilish and co
Here they saw it probably a little too big. Two screenings in one week, in quite big theaters, in sometimes small cities around the workd, that's just dreaming too big in my opinion. They're not Billie Eilish or Taylor Swift indeed (anymore).
Otherwise, this is/was the perfect opportunity for the mainstream public to 'discover' the great act PSB are...

Could it be a financial failure or is this kind of investment a secure staking?

Yeah I took my daughter to the cinema a couple of years ago to see the Billie Eilish live at the O2 concert and it was sold out and about 100 kids were down the front actually dancing in front of the screen! Madness. This will be a totally different experience. There are 27 seats sold in my cinema so will be a quiet affair, lol. But I don’t care, just looking forward to it. Me, my mum and 2 of my daughters! 3 generations!

Greetings,
At a cinema in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Official start (ok sure, that usually involves a whole bunch of advertisements) is literally now, 7pm, and so far I'm the only person in the cinema. Might move back a couple of rows if no one else shows up.
I'm looking forward to it because they haven't brought a tour to Melbourne for ages.
Retro.

I really hope more people turn up to these screenings as a spur of the moment thing. I think perhaps they should have been a little more select with the number of venues, though I guess that was a decision made by the cinema chains themselves and of course it's good for people who don't live in cities. Saying that, I've been to plenty of 'arthouse' movies with tiny audiences, and even opening nights of some recent 'big movies' have been far from sellouts in Prague at least.
