I was going to write something similar in the previous post. I don't think it's a lack of bottle, though, as he's bounced back countless times from horrific criticism and won round fans at every club he's been at since his Liverpool days. He just seems to lack a certain inner belief for some reason - possibly because he's a very shy character - and it's immensely frustrating because he could have been a world beater. Still a much better player than people give him credit for, though, and I wish every England player matched his workrate.

I think Mark Hughes is probably the best British old fashioned target man I've seen during my lifetime. It's such a pity that he and Ian Rush never got to play in a World Cup.

Weird isn't it? Arguably one of the best strikeforces you could have. Many would choose them in a fantasy team, yet they never played on the biggest stage. They also had a top class keeper in Southall.

The German team around Löw (Bierhoff, Flick etc.) will be the
German team until 2012.

Hopefully they wont have Ballack anywhere near the squad. Germany wouldn't have done half as well with that usless shower in their side.

I see he is a tad bitter over the captaincy. He's demanding back from Philip Lahm. I wonder if he thinks the captaincy guarentee's you a place? No wonder he's getting a bit anxious. no way will he get into that team unless he has the armband.

Pro footballers and pro cyclists. Both groups are pros, both groups are sportsmen and that's where the comparison ends...

Best penalty ever? Not sure about that but it's pretty cool...

Damn you! I tried uploading that yesterday but it wouldn't work. It is a great penalty but the sort that would be humiliating if you were to mess it up, like Yann Kermogant of Leicester in the Championship play-off semi-final.

So where have you been to watch football? My list of stadiums is pretty small, but it's spread out!

I had to watch that penalty twice to see what he actually did. Get that wrong and you could snap an ankle. Still class, though.

As for footy grounds, i'll try and list them off the top of my head. ;-

Blundell Park
Glanford Park
K.C Stadium
Boothferry Park
Belle Vue
Keep Moat Stadium
Millmoor
Valley Parade
Elland Road
Hillsborough
Old Trafford
Reebok Stadium
Ewood Park
Anfield
Goodison Park
Prenton Park
Villa Park
Riverside Stadium
Roots Hall
White Hart Lane
Highbury
Wembley old and new
Millenium Stadium
Portman Road
Nene Park
St Andrews
JJB Stadium
The Shay
Victoria Ground
Saltergate
Pride Park

There will probably be a few more

That's great, but for complete and utter goalkeeping bewilderment, this one takes some beating:
