Saw someone online is selling bootleg CDs of the first night's performance. Has 40 enquiries already, lots of interest.

I know right! Literally watching a recording of that right now. Pretty special. Makes you want to dance.
Neil getting the words wrong though... Even when looking at the lyric sheet. They should have gotten a teleprompter.
I know the words of these songs better than the artist! It's crazy. Kinda laughable but also humbling I suppose.

This is a hilarious way to look at it. Subtract a few years and you’d still be in it! Anyway, enjoy the show!

Hey, did we all give up on not doing spoilers or something?
For your own good, call me tonight.

Hi everyone, I went on Tuesday and enjoyed it so much that I’d love to go again today. Before checking the usual platforms, I’d much rather buy from one of you here if possible. I know it’s a long shot, but thought I’d ask 🙂

I have been this week, first time seeing them since a disaster at the R2, when I had to walk away (showed me what love is). Quite a few challenges in my way even for this, but I made it. Took a while to get into it even though I remember the early b-sides and albums from when I was first obsessed.

A few weeks ago something told me to buy the 100 lyrics book, I was reading that & searching some of the unknown to me songs on YT whilst travelling to the concert. What I did find was not being a clever clogs trying to guess the songs, helped me relax into the show. Back home I am enjoying the videos available from the concerts, and learning more than I ever knew about them. Obscure has brought the connection back. I could attend DW at Lytham, if I overcome what happened at R2.....but if Obscure toured, and some venue with better accessbility provision I would definitely like to see Obscure again.

It turns out there is a lot of background noise and chatter in the bootleg. The CD case and cover looks good, but it appears they've literally just taken the youtube video someone uploaded and put it on CD. The youtube vid (full concert recording) has 11,000 views and counting but unfortunately it's filmed at the back where people are speaking.
I've seen cameras held at the front row. Hoping those people also share their footage. I'm enjoying the audience recordings so far though, as someone who couldn't attend in person!

Tonight is forever
The survivors
To face the truth
Do I have to?
To step aside
The resurrectionist
Fugitive
Up against it
Your funny uncle
King’s Cross
Only the wind
It couldn’t happen here
Casanova in Hell
The theatre
Happiness is an option
It always comes as a surprise
Jack the lad
To speak is a sin
My October symphony
One and one more five
The Samurai in autumn
Love is a catastrophe
Later tonight
Why don’t we live together?
Forever in love
If love were all

Encore:
One thing leads to another
So, at the end, only 11 songs of this 2008 list entered in the 2026 Obscure setlist.
Am I right?

Yes - although that’s still a quite a chunk. Chris had clearly started a new long list Image

In my opinion, the only omission of those that really hurt was 'The resurrectionist'. Not only would it have been a real fan favourite but also a much-needed banger. Apart from that, I'd take 'Only the wind' over "To face the truth' any day, especially in its original version instead of the Nightlife-era remake as seen on Montage.

Is the general consensus that none of the Obscure performances were professionally filmed..? I hope for an official soundboard recording, but I doubt any filming took place..
