I see your point about Trevor Horn. What they should have done is a 1920's Laurel and Hardy esque Country and Western album that nobody bought, covering songs we have heard, over and over again, while strumming a guitar borrowed off Rod, Jane and Freddy.

Someone who is jealous and envious, who only started posting the minute everyone was laughing at Union Street.So carry on thinking that Erasure will be remembered in the same Breath as Lennon and Mccartney in 30 years time with the song writing, but don't put us all through your bull shit. Once again, below is what you really think of PSB.

when you buy an Erasure album, you know almost every song on it will make your heart sing, unlike much of the depressing drab PSB fill their's with
guess "trying something different" to PSB means making an album of half-inspired Latin songs that should be sung with fervour, but are instead languishing under the crushing inadequacy of Neil Tennant's vocals and Chris Lowe's regurgitated clubdance track... or is it maybe the insipid, life-less Nightlife, with that wonderfully embarrassing "New York City Boy"

Oooooh, I'm exposed now. If you remember me from the yahoogroups pet shop boys list, then you would *know* that I've been a big fan... since 1985! And post any excerpts you want out of context - the truth is you really don't want me to post some of the nasty things you've said to me in private messages and elsewhere, hence generating enough anger out of me to have me lash out at you in the past. nobody talks about it as it doesnt seem popular the idea of the PSB releasing ballads as singles but indefinite leave to remain sounds exactly like the type of songs these singer songwriter types are having hits with nowadays.

god if only they could get one of their songs in a key scene in a movie or something.that would be their best bet, like in some animated picture.

I have bought every single album from PSB, and numberus singles, and maxis, and i wont stop doing that just cause i heard the samples.

No, you don't want the samples, i haven't heard them either, I have I'm With Stupid and Luna Park on my MP3 player but i'm not going to give in..I'll wait till May 22nd to hear the rest of them ( and that includessamples ) I'm desperate to hear this album, especailly Integral but i won't give in...not yet anyway, but it's getting harder not to with you all going on about how great the songs are.

But why? Sure, I want PSB to be successful but why whore themselves to the lowest common denominator to be so? If you are a PSB fan then just enjoy their music for yourself & don't worry about whether or not it's universally acclaimed.

I dont think recording a song for a movie is a bad thing.
I would like to see them get some serious exposure for their music. and movies are the best way for the PSB at this stage to get their music across to the most audiences.
