Demos from 82. A cassette labeled "Pet Shop Boys LP". Lots of stuff from 1983. It needs to be overseen and released.

Gotta believe the Boys have gone through these boxes and found all the gems OR they are holding them out for some type of final release closer to the end of their careers.

Someone needs to raise this at one of the Audience withs, and not take no for an answer!

These are some drool-inducing teasers!
I hope they'd play more demos, not only those of future hits but also something like If looks could kill or even something that we know nothing about.

stayed away from the teasers but my goodness that pic with all the demo tapes ... would give up an arm to have those in my possession!

Really looking forward to this - I hope those cassette tapes get converted / recorded before they degrade...

Hopefully salty and with hot butter drizzled over the top - that's the only way to go with popcorn.

was thinking similar ... but then when you think that they have kept a hold of them for 42 plus years and are all neatly labelled up ... I am sure they have these captured digitally somewhere.

I don't think they will have had those tapes digitised. Remember that we're looking at it from the point of view of being a fan, not from the point of view of being a Pet Shop Boy. I have the impression that they don't think there's any gold left to mine there. Hasn't Neil said previously that there are no songs they consider worthwhile left in the vaults? I think they view those cassettes as historical curios, no more.

I use Ghost VPN. It even has a 'Preset' for the iplayer.

Decided to watch it tomorrow on iPlayer… having said it’s not on too late… it is for me now!

Might have to buy popcorn for it…
