Amazon & HMV Japan are both just showing import copies. It doesn't bode well, but keeping an eye...

My speculation:

- PSB don't usually say that from their albums or not easily: We can expect a really good album, deeper than others. PSB love them. Full of good songs but not from a commercial perspective, you know what I mean.
I'm honestly not in the business of kneejerk challenging your quite nebulous posts, but in press releases and advance publicity they (and many, many other artists) say this pretty much every single time. When Nightlife was announced I remember Neil saying something along the lines of "If it wasn't such a cliche, I'd say it's our best album." I'm delighted that they're proud of it though.
I remember this pic with the headphone for hotspot where Neil say he's satisfied of the album. The same way i remember he said it after fundamental. I always imagine Neil putting off his headset on a table satisfied: "the job is over".

Being "satisfied" is not the same thing that "very proud of".

I would be surprised if Parlophone did not know about it already - Taylor requires a huge noisy machinery.

LOL! how does that TS release 10 albums between 2019 and now...it's ridiculous and her 4th AOTY too now. Will she get a Nobel prize by end of this decade?

I find it crazy that PSB have gotten only 1 UK #1, in their incredible career, Erasure have managed 5 and Depeche Mode 2! what is their rotten luck with the album charts :(

  • Title Details Peak chart
    Please 24 March 1986 3
    Actually 7 September 1987 2
    Introspective 10-Oct-88 2
    Behaviour 22 October 1990 2
    Very 27 September 1993 1
    Bilingual 2 September 1996 4
    Nightlife 11 October 1999 7
    Release 1 April 2002 7
    Fundamental 22-May-06 5
    Yes 23 March 2009 4
    Elysium 10 September 2012 9
    Electric 15 July 2013 3
    Super 1 April 2016 3
    Hotspot 24 January 2020 3
its interesting that from an autumn time frame they went to more spring summer and Hotspot's January is a true outlier

They should bump up the album to April 1, to get a Top 5
