Surprising that Neil hasn't used the phrase "Unexpected item in the baggage area" in a song yet.

Hehe!petshopgrrl wrote: Fri 17 Apr 2026, 9:25 pm Neil has mentioned shopping at Waitrose before.
As for Chris, how would anyone know if he shopped among them??
But yeah, home delivery must be preferable to encountering random fandom in the aisles going "Hello Neil! Out doing some S.H.O.PP.I.N.G. LOL?"![]()

Interestingly, you can sing that to the same tune as Clean air hybrid electric bus.OakeyDokey wrote: Fri 17 Apr 2026, 11:15 pm Surprising that Neil hasn't used the phrase "Unexpected item in the baggage area" in a song yet.
P.s. surely “bagging”?

I order from UK always. I gave to suck it up on shipping charges and wait times, but so far have had no issues.petshopgrrl wrote: Fri 17 Apr 2026, 1:15 am Oh, here we go... Went to view my order status yesterday and it says "This link has expired. Please contact the sender of the email for more information." I think the US store has had a little reorganization since the end of February and now I can't even see where to login and check. Haven't received any messages yet to say it's on the way but technically it says it ships tomorrow.
Anyone else buy one from the US store? (*cracks knuckles and prepares to type sternly worded email to a hapless WMG minion*)
Famous last words probably...

Incidentally, Jim Bob (formerly from Carter USM, who once covered 'Rent') has already used "Unexpected item in the bagging area" as the opening line to his song 'The Tesco Riots' from his 2012 Day Job EP.OakeyDokey wrote: Fri 17 Apr 2026, 11:15 pm Surprising that Neil hasn't used the phrase "Unexpected item in the baggage area" in a song yet.

Re: Annually 2026
No… And I see that Annually is still in “pre-order” status on the US site.nonesuch wrote: Sat 18 Apr 2026, 4:58 pm Did anyone get a shipping confirmation or response from the US store yet?
And normally I’d do the same but this year they gave us the option to buy it in the US so a few of us thought we’d give them the benefit of the doubt. Is it too much to ask for a little communication?Gabby wrote: Sat 18 Apr 2026, 2:51 am]

A politely worded helpdesk ticket has been opened. The British Temper Status has been upgraded from “bothered” to “a bit cross”. The knuckles remain cracked and ready to go ballistic. C’mon, WMG, surprise and delight me.

My automated response said "Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a very high volume of inquiries".

Re: Annually 2026
Wonder if they'd do an exhibition of all the stuff they have in storage? Looks like they have plenty of items and it'd be a shame for it to be just be left in storage.
I can't remember if I had the Introspective bag, I know I bought the album from HMV the week it came out. There was a vague recognition when I saw it in Annually.

I assume this isn't some random homophobic post but a reference to the Spotify playlist having been made private!
It's a shame, as I was listing to their 5 hour playlist called "Obscure Radio"!

Re: Annually 2026
Could anyone who has received their copy yet tell me if there is a question asked by someone called Jon in the letters section?
I thought I’d pre-ordered a copy but somehow haven’t!
Thanks
