It went Top 5 in the US, although it missed the Top 40 in the UK. I actually heard it in the background of an episode of Friends the other day (one of the 80s-flashback ones). No idea about the legalities though.
My mum had the album (Scary Monsters)
and I got a cassette recording from it.
Bowie use to get played to death in my house too. Don't know what album it was but i always remember a song going on about ''Mummy Come Back'' It might have been something to do with the Glass Spider Concert.
