Pardon my language, but that was f-ing frustrating as all hell!!!

I started trying to get in queue right away & was plagued with multiple error messages, then finally managed to get in cue only for it to pause, then some other issues, and after FINALLY getting in all my preferred seats were unavailable, then settled on a couple and kept trying over & over to add to my basket only for it not to work! Then something happened and my page ended up going back to error message. Then had to start process all over again!

In the end (after over 1.5 hours!) I did end up being able to get a couple of tickets, though they are more $ than I’d originally planned on spending, as all the lower priced tickets were gone by the time I was finally able to get the site to cooperate with me.

My apologies for the likely incoherent rant! This was just nuts.

Queued for an hour. 3 different browsers. Couldn’t get a mosh pit ticket for any night, no matter what I did

Simply can’t believe they are that popular and hoping they are holding back tickets for the main sale.

Finally got 2 tickets for the Friday although I was after the Saturday originally but wanted some sort of front row seats - I'm assuming it might turn into 'standing' for the gig.

Was in the queue just before 10am with 8 minutes to go then it all went tits up. Had various error messages / blank screens on both PC and mobile phone. At one point I could actually see seat selection on my PC but wouldn't then add them to the basket. Tried various browsers etc. Even contacted ROH who said to try 'incognito mode' on my browser which didn't work and that they were having technical issues.

Eventually again on my PC I had the 'in the queue' message come up but now with over a 1 hour wait. So I waited and that was how I got in to get the tickets but even then there were still issues when selecting seats & trying to then add to basket as I would get the 'There was a problem reserving your seats' message.

Tried the different dates, eventually settling on the Friday but same message again until trying numerous times to add them to my basket & eventually it worked. Just over 1 hour 35 mins to get them and it was a right kerfuffle.

Looking right now it seems that all of the pre-sale links are working via the email although with not too much seating left.

Hopefully everyone that wants to go can get seats

First time seeing them since 229 Great Portland Street (by far the smallest venue I've ever seen them in) in 2019! So the Dreamworld tour will be completely new for me, and it's been 14 years since I last saw anything in the Royal Opera House which will be a nice treat.

I went for one of the £40 seats which aren't too restricted compared to the really silly ones highest up, can't really afford more than that and there's no way I'm paying anywhere near £250. I paid just over £30 for arena standing at the O2 in 2009 and £38.20 for the Royal Albert Hall in 2017 in fantastic seats, so I am genuinely quite surprised how well this has done as I thought those prices would scare everyone off. It took irritatingly long to get through this morning along with everyone else but happy at least I got something!

There were a lot of seats greyed out so maybe they were the ones being held back for Friday?

Tried for one hour and decided to go back to sleep (I’m in the US) and checked back almost 1 hour and 45 mins after tickets went on sale and found two tickets - the only two left sitting side by side. Very lucky! Every show seems almost sold out. Good for the Boys what what a freaking mess.

Yup - the demand is very surprising given the prices! And I guess we will see a sell out for all 5 nights without too much of a sweat.

I bagged a ticket for Friday - up in the Ampitheatre but face on and front row for £166 ... even though I was saying that I wasn't going to get tickets.

Can't see em' veering too far off the Dreamworld show that I've already seen but here's hoping for a surprise or two at the ROH.

I truly feel bad for anyone who wasn’t able to get tickets. There wasn’t much left for any of the dates by the time I was done.

They will sell out all five nights for sure. The capacity of the main auditorium is 2256. A sell out of five nights mean that around 11280 people will attend the concerts! Another triumph for the boys!

I wasn't looking for tickets, but was this on Ticketmaster?

My God how I despise them. Every concert I want tickets for it's a nightmare to buy anything. I don't know how, but someone needs to break their monopoly and provide a sensible ticket purchasing service. I'd sooner queue up at the venue box office than waste my time with them.

It wasn't on Ticketmaster but through the offical Royal Opera House site

80 in the orchestra pit too - so thats 11,680 across five nights

average sale price of ~£150 per ticket = £1.75m in ticket sales

not bad for 5 nights work
