Young Offender wrote:So why would an Advance copy be sent to Pop Justice so early if it is not being released until April?

I would think that the media outlets (magazines, websites) would get their press releases early february so they can be reviewed and written up in time for the April Issues that come out in Mid March?

Could it be that we are getting an earlier release date?

I would assume that there may be a few promos on ebay soon?

Could it be also that the PSB's are hunting for a US Record Label so there may be a few promos out here in the U.S.?
It is an nice way to inform everyone about Fundamental, they don't have to do an interview.

Might as well leak early to Popjustice, especially if the tracklisting is still a work in progress as reported. If PJ reacts badly, there's still time for tweaks. For instance, they might get some 2nd opinions on 20th Century & consider swapping for another track. PJ normally carries on like a panting dog over anything Pet Shop Boys so I'm sure any criticisms would be noted.

I dont know.wasnt happiness is an option the result of tweaking on the nightlife CD? if I remember correct they thought they needed something that sounded more commercial on it.quite frankly they could have done better.

they should keep it the way it is as we will just end up getting any songs that were exchanged with 20th century anyways via the B-sides.

oddly when I saw it I had no problem with it if it was actually the new CD cover for some odd reason.
