There are people in my age that don't even remember them and people that is younger that never ever have heard of this group...

I think the boys will have a big hit with minimal in the uk - straight in the top 5 and this will give the album a massive boost. I'm just glad that they are still want to make records and tour again. I've still got a funny feeling that they will get the "lifetime achievement" at the brit awards. I know what Chris said in the past but it would be fantastic to see a 20 minute set on TV with an auidence of millions worldwide. I'm looking forward to this year and can't wait to see them live.

It's not 1987 all over, so they're not likely to hit mainstream again.

I hope you are right! As for the 'Lifetime achievement' I think I read somewhere recently that it 'might' go to Paul Weller......but I hope it's PSB of course

Obviously they are still popular compared to the majority of bands and sell records world-wide. The days of number ones are over although I expect Minimal and Fundamental to both make the top 10.

there is something in some peoples nature that actually prefers their favorite band stays kinda small and with limited success as they feel if they get really big its not "their" band anymore.
me I wish they would be huge again because it would mean alot more new material most likely with more side projects and exposure on TV and videos,plus I feel it would really give the PSB a really nicer feeling of a second windand they would feel alot more rejuvenated.

To be honest unless theychange Minimal to Minimal feat J.Lo and Eminem (or Minimal - PSB Vs Flip and Fill and Shapeshifters) Fundamental and them themselves will not be popular in 2006 with the mainstream no matter how much we like them. Although doing a mix of Madonna's Sorry may lead to a slight increase in interest.

I'm a realist.
Mainstream pop music is people 25-28 or younger appealing to the 15 and unders. PSB aren't ever going to be there again.
They have the fan base to continue to chart (relatively) highly, but we all know how fast the chart exit is once the fanbase has bought the records.
