I believe the saying is: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
You know, they could've decided to be an Erasure tribute band - which would probably mean that they'd end up doing Erasure versions of ABBA songs. Much too convoluted, really. Better to stick with PSB & justify it as a guilty pleasure.

BTW, the West End girls single I ordered from Megastore.se got shipped 2 days ago. It should arrive just in time for my birthday. Ahhhhh .....

I think they're brilliant. This is not some cheap dance cover project like you can find by the houndreds in Southern Europe. This is a genuine quality product. The production of their covers is nothing short of amazing. You'd be hard pressed to find better sounding popdance music around at the moment. So her voice is a bit annoying, but it's also rather cute.

Looking very much forward to the album!

I have mixed feelings. I enjoy their covers to a certain level but consider them more of a novelty act. I have a PSB fan friend who is appalled by them!

Reading their bio it's a bit eye rolling to see that they think of themselves as the best band ever. One wonders is this is meant to be tounge in cheek, but the rest of the bio isn't so...

And they list Sparks as an inspiration. Maybe they'll cover them next? Put the blond in a moustache!

I just see it as a bit of fun, there not great singers but who cares, it's fun pop. But i think it's great a couple of teenage girls taking of the psb image and putting there tracks out.

Another A-Teens, I'd say. Cashing up first by copying PSB. Then trying own songs and disappear quietly.

I can't see what the problem is either! If I'd be Neil or Chris, I'd be tremendously flattered if another group (much younger and of different sexes) would like to devote their career making a complete tribute to them! Also, the production and their 'trueness' is superb IMO! - if they'd be completely tacky and rather embarresing it'd be one thing, but now they're not! - IMO the're really good and I wish them continued success!!!
