A mistake or just an attempt to post ropey info?

I've heard that they may revert to their original plan and release The Stonk. It's very catchy and Neil describes it as "the pierrot facing the noose, the laughter of the crowd tempered by the flinty-eyed hangman. It's the Chuckle Brothers playing Vladimir and Estragon."

I want to hear the song. It just sounds so weird.

No. I work in the media. The information we've been given, by the record company, is that the album will now come out at the end of May and that the first single is 'Numb' and 'Im With Stupid'.

Things change all the time - the archive news on the official site is just that, archive news!

The previous poster is right - we should all be patient. Good things come to those who wait......and only time will tell what Parlophone and the Boys finally decide to do!

I find it strange that they would come back with a double A side; it smacks of indecision. Plus those two songs seem incongruous - Numb is a heartbreaking mope of melancholia while I'm with stupid sounds like it's a Shameless-esque piss-take of Blair and Bush replete with Little Britain comedy video.

likely reason for this (if it is true) is that Numb received more favourable feedback from those who have heard the album and that it is more likely to receive airplay, obviously a major problem for PSB at the moment. However PSB are unlikely to be happy with the big comeback single being someone elses song therefore make it a double a side, I believe this was why Can you forgive her? was Verys lead single as opposed to Go West.
