I don't really count DIsco 2 as that's more of a remix project (but it is my least favourite over all).
Same here

Nightlife is their worst studio album, too glossy and over-produced. Bilingual is probably 3rd worst album.

Couldn't agree more, although "For your own good" is still one of my all time favourite songs. And as for Bilingual, I love this album but that is probably because I was in France when it was released (my first working visit) and I still remember getting the tape from my mum in England and playing it for the first time....Great memories and I always found it ironic that it was called Bilingual (I'm still not though!).

"Nightlife" is my favourite album of PSB. Their worst one is "Release".

Nightlife is a great album, and certainly a whole lot better than both Release and Bilingual.

Bilingual rules !!! Nightlife is great album. My favourite songs from Nightlife are New York city boy, Boy Strange and Footsteps.

As a whole, I think Nightlife is the most expendable studio album they've done. Some tracks (FYOG, Happiness, Drunk, Radiophonic) I love... but as a whole the album seems thrown together, a bit piecemeal.

I think Release infinitely better. In fact, as well as the quality of the song-writing, I think Release 'hangs together' as an album in a better way than Bilingual or Release. And, perhaps, even Very.

I have a feeling Fundamental will 'work' as an album: the songs were specifically chosen to be recorded and the album has ONE producer...

not really liked nightlife album. I don't count disco 1/2/3 as albums

I also think Nightlife is their weakest studio album, although the singles from that era are some of my favorite PSB songs. In my opinion, Nightlife was undermined by two things: too many producers (lack of focus) and the musical.

If you take some of the best songs from C2H and replace them with the stinkers on Nightlife, you would end up with a great CD! Probably one of their better.

New York city boy and boy strange apart nightlife is a great album, It starts well and ends well, For me Bilingual does neither. It has great tracks but too many things let it down

Nightlife sounds expensive because of the production, and has some pretty good tracks (the singles and those dance tracks). But there are also such horrible tracks and too many different styles. It's a mix of 2 or 3 of my favorite songs and some of my most hated ones (the only one, footsteps, hapiness is an option, vampires).

I don't think Bilingual is their best, but in my opinion it's a highly underrated album
