Oh, that guy spent half of his life at the Barcelona Rambla, a very long and crowded venue, doing silly things to the tourists.

But, no, this has nothing in common with the topic of this thread.

it's maybe simple as always! Mr. Popjustice meets N&C in the last days, and they chatted about future things with him... Thats all! He have the popjustice page and N&C haven't the time to come up with the news first.... thats all!

the "into online political debate and satire 30-40 age suburban guy" isnt what drives the music and music video market.

I think nickname is right as a Bush/Blair satire really would only fly in someplace like britain.yes people know who both are, but its just ......over as satire.

here in america,it just wont fly.the target audience needed to make a hit wont see Bush/Blair. they will see
ewww boring old guys boring politics. could they come up with 2 more things young people arent interested in? rather they should go for another angle. I think they should stick with the dating a celebrity thing.

Why can'ät we all just settle for hoping that the Boys know what they're doing and that it will all work out for the best in the end? *and NO, I'm not stoned*

It should go down well in Fallujah.

glenn you may be right, but why would N&C give a s**t about selling to people who think satire is over? Those people, my friend, are simply the white trash that satire is nowadays about. They are the 'stupid'..

I love the satire anti-Bush and anti-Blair but we don't know if the video is a satire about them.

I dont care what the video is about just like everyone here who is a fan,but I think the "dating a dumb celebrity' angle is far more appealing to the young people who drive the market rather than anything to do with politics.

neil and chris may or may not give a s**t, but I think they do, and at the end of the day their record company certainly does. today its videos that sell CD's.
I just think they should go for the more appealing angle rather than the highbrow angle us people in our 30's will get but will be no pay-off for the PSB.

fair enough... maybe the song/video combo manages to cover both angles

Its ridiculous to even discuss whether a political video from PSB will play well in the US, satire or not.

The fact is- no one will see it. MTV and VH1 don't play music videos anymore. And when a music video is shown, it will be for some 19 year old black kid with bullet holes, gold teeth, tons of chains and hundreds of strippers surrounding them, or a female 15 year old with little clothing on singing about how much she wants to get witchu.

N+C don't fall into either category. So it won't be shown. And all the "satire" will be for naught....
