i simply don't agree! i remember the first time i heard it, i thought "wow! what a great track" leaving a good impression at the end of the album! i'm surprised many fans don't like it...

i listened to it for a long time, always dancing! the chorus is catchy and it has a very positive vibe, which can't be find in many of the Boys track! maybe that's what many people here dont like, finding it too cheesy , which is not!

Bilingual was such an Up-beat album!
i'm sure Fundamental will even be better!

Wasn't the production on it a homage to old disco records? I don't mind it actually - it's light and insubstantial but quite a nice way to close Bilingual.

I totally disagree. It´s one of the best PSB-songs ever.

Great track. Could have been better produced.

is it me or sometimes i can hear with the horns of the chorus something reminiscent of the "loveboat" generic?

It used to be in my Psb top 10 years ago, I thought it should have been the last single from Bilingual. Nowdays it's a struggle to listen trough the whole song...same goes for "Up against it"

I really like it and always have done. It's surprisingly commercial and musically very cleverly written with some rather unique chord changes.

I absolutely hate it. They should have ended "Bilingual" with "The boy who couldn't keep his clothes on" instead.

I like it a lot but it's not my fave track from Bilingual. I always thought the simplicity of it would have made it good single material.

It's not that bad. Billingual had worse tunes, 'The Survivors' for instance was pretty terrible, in a US daytime movie kind of way. What I like about Saturday Night Forever is that it retains an ambivalent atmosphere.

i love The Survivors, especially the line "If life is worth living it's got to be run as a means of giving not as a race to be won"
