7: Multimedia Elements - "Maxi" CD / DVD Singles
7.3 Video
Two videos per format are permissible.
Provided the videos are cut to substantially the same mix as one of the featured "audio only" tracks they will not count as extra tracks or towards the total permitted playing time. If the video is not one of the "audio only" tracks it will count as one of the three permissible tracks and total playing time inclusive of the video must come within 20 minutes.
Chart eligible.

That's lame that the best tracks are DVD only in digital format. That means one may only listen to them at home and not in the car or elsewhere. It also means that us non-PAL format fans are shit out of luck.

Well, most newer dvd players and tvs can handle PAL, even in North America

what about saving to i-tunes??? Can you do this with audio tracks on a DVD?

what about saving to i-tunes??? Can you do this with audio tracks on a DVD?
you can rip the audio from the dvd single using 'dvd audio extractor.....export the files as .wav or .mp3 and then get them into itunes from there!!

Not to rip the audio tracks off you don't. As long as you have a DVD rom drive you can use DVD audio extractor to rip the audio tracks. I think ISOBuster may do it as well.
If you don't have a DVD rom then you won't be able to do it.
