The show is available now on the BBC Listen Again player. About 15 mins into the show.

The thing is after playing "I'm with stupid", they played a song from Eternal and at the end of this song they were still talking about the new PSB's record.

he also said that fundamental would be the radio 2 album of the week!!!

omg.....ken bruce just read my name out....i emailed him as he played the new single and after he played the song after I'm with stupid he read out my email....saying:-

'steve higgins is a big pet shop boys fan and he thinks the new single is the best thing they've done in 10 years!!....wow!!!
The questions are:

Are they the typical DJs who always say good things about the artists?

Are they more or less psb fans?

..and did they say something similar with the singles of Release?

No. To all of the questions.

Mark Goodier is probably the biggest PSB fan still on Radio (excluding Pat Sharpe)... he's always supported the boys. I remember vividly the massive support he gave to the PSB version of Blur's Girls and Boys... saying that the PSB version was simply awesome... Good on him. JS

I think Mark Goodier was the start of "The official chart show", in the 80's and the 90's, wasn't him?
