I must say I'm rather astonished at some of the negativity being posted here. Just from listening to the samples a couple of times I think the whole album sounds AMAZING! The already much maligned Twentieth Century to my ears sounds bloody fantastic! Minimal sounds like it would be a great single. And how anyone could say Sodom & Gomorrah sounds crap is beyond me. Each to their own I suppose.....I'm now becoming more and more excited about this release every day. Cannot wait till 20th May comes around!

Thanks a lot!
Now, my review!
Psiycological - I liked it. Dark sound... Should have a remix by Mylo 7/10
The Sodom and Gomorrah Show - Definetly should be a single!!! Loved it! 10/10
I made my excuses and left - Just ok 5/10
Minimal - Another hit single!!! 10/10
Numb - just remembered Later Tonight! Sweet! 8/10
God willing - A depressing song that is really growing on me! 8/10
Luna Park - 7/10
I'm with supid - 8/10
Casanova in Hell - Loved, loved, loved it!!! 9/10
Twentieh century - it reminded me Rent. 7/10
Indefinite leave to remain - Another one growing on me fast 8/10
Integral - The third single IMO!!! 9/10
So, the album would be 8/10 at first, but I know it's growing each time I listen to it!
And The Gardner is right (as usual) - it's a shame the official site hasn't thought about it before.

i bloody loved almost every track, apart from 20th cent....hopefully will grow on me. but i think this is the most complete sounding album since Very and maybe Behaviour. i just love the overall production/sound & feel of it all. i think minimal sounds great, and psychological, which dont have a chorus!!!.....casanova sounds like its gonna be very sad/happy!!!
very excited now.

Well, its impossible to make any kind of judgment based off a randomly placed 30 second sample of each track in incredibly poor quality. Hell, the clips are so abitrary, they even managed to make Integral sound slightly dull, and that takes some doing.
That said, Casanova sounds intriguing as does Sodom. Indefinite Leave sounds like it has some interesting chord changes and has piqued my interest; unfortunately, Twenieth Century is threatening to live up to its billing as the weakest track on the album.
Overall, its sounding more and more like the album Nightlife ultimately should have been. Roll on May 22nd.

I'm not listening to clips!
they never pick the right parts of the song and they make everything sound cheap and bland. cripes I wish I didnt listen to luna park as it is, as its one of the most beautiful things they have ever done and I heard it first in a muffled degraded version.
for me its either the track in all its glory or nothing.I suspect alot of your opinions will change on these songs once you have a good pair of headphones on and the MP3's

LMAO! That has to be one of the most random things I've read on hereFrequency wrote:Its like smearing your TV screen with vaseline and watching it 5 feet away with a pair of binoculars (which you should all probably try at least once).
