Way past your bedtime Steve. Surely you should be in bed with a warm cup or Horlicks and the home service on the wireless?

 :boo:
Not sure you're getting me.

I mean I have musical tastes that are maybe a little old for someone my age. My love affair with the charts stopped in 1993. Since then I've only really ever bought new stuff by '80's' artists (PSB, New Order etc...).

Don't worry - Brandon Flowers is getting old too. He now likes Springsteen.

I'm really disappointed that Brandon has grown a beard. He used to look like a young Gary Numan, now he's more Hot House Flowers

Exactly, Paninaro.
Good songs, shame the frontman's such a t***.

I read an article in Q last year where he said he used to listen to 'Being Boring' and think how much it was like him wanting to get away from his town and be a star.
Each to their own, interpretation-wise, but when you consider what that songs really about, it seemed pretty shallow and self-obsessed. Which, I gather, he is.

That's probably because I'm 31 and you're 18 though. ;)

No, I didn't mean that!
I meant with Coldplay I like the songs and melodies but can't stand Chris Martin  The same goes for The Killers

I really like All These Things That I've Done 8)

To be fair, that is what the song is about until the final verse, where the narrator looks back at the life he's left behind (or more specifically, the people he's left behind) and wonders whether it was worth it.

Well i'm 36 and think the Killers are fantastic, their album Hot Fuss was one of the highlights of last year for me, brilliant first album especially when you think they have only been around a couple of years.
Go and buy it and stop acting like Victor Meldrew :-)
I've been a Teenager since before you were born.
