Sometimes I only fish for 2hrs because it's all the spare time I have for myself. And I have never fished for more than a 12hr session in my life. I would love to do so starting with the quarry up the road where some of the biggest fish in the country are known to have been caught.
And for the stick thing, if you have never seen someone do proper fishing, perhaps you may realise that a twig and a line is not what is used for fishing. I use professional gear, not things found in the garden
