Absolutely fantastic. Pumping it out loud on the stereo, it really does sound bloody brilliant. I even like the Sodom remix by trentmoller and the Psychological one is quite good too. I'm going to delete them all at the end of the day (my compromise between having absolutely no willpower and attempting to have even a smidgen of willpower), before then I think Fugitive on repeat should see my through this sunny afternoon. Top stuff.

I'm not sure if it'd be a hit single as the melody isn't that strong though the synth hooks are great. However, if they do have a 3rd single then I'd get Richard X in to rework Integral to give it that retro contemporary edge that it needs for the mass market and release that.

I quite liked Release at the time but this is really what PSB are all about. It feels like 1993 again and hearing Can you forgive her?? for the first time. That giddy feeling when you hear a brilliant PSB song, its been so long I've forgotten what it felt like.

That'd be a waste of potentially 2 new bonus tracks imo. Fugitive clocks in at 6 minutes and its the perfect length, fantastic build-up and an outro that isn't overtly long. I don't see the need for an edit of that track.

Surely you'd want at least another 2 brand new tracks; especially when you consider they've hit something of a purple patch and the more new stuff they can cram into each single release, the better.

I agree... without trying to be too critical of some posters...I still have to wonder why, when hearing a fantastic 6 minute extended mix (such as "Fugitive"), some people can't wait to get their hands on a much shorter version!

Exactly, especially as the both the original and extended mix are produced by Richard X. Just start listening from the 1-minute mark and fade the track out after 5 minutes, so voila... you now have a shorter version at your perusal!

First of all thank you for Fundamental and Fundamentalism.

Once you've both had a nice long holiday after all this promotion (and rather spookily Battleship Potemkin was mentioned on today's Neighbours too!) please get in a studio with Richard X and record at least six more tracks of electro genius like Fugitive.

Lots of love

Janet

Fugitive really should be a single, but would ti be too controversial? im guessing the lyrics are from the P.O.V. of a terrorist. anyone know if lyrics have been posted anywhere?

fantastic song!!

Beacuse to me, an extended mix is not the same as the original!

If it could be confirmed that the versions that appear on Fundamentalism are the original mixes and not just extended, as the title says , then I'm not bothered about having an edit. I just want to hear original versions of songs rather than just mixes...

Take The Resurrectionist for example, I think the extended mix is great but I prefer the original.
