Seeing them at the Hacienda, getting to see them at Barfly was out of this world and seeing the 2 Nightlife shows in New York then blagging some aftershow tickets to the old Studio 54 THEN asking Dainton could I go to the VIP area in the basement .. that was a hightlight. Speaking to both Neil and Chris for a few moments.
Then I made my excuses .....................and left.
but they all came upstairs to the dance floor later in the night. Top night and free cocktails !
Greatest PSB moments so far !!

My PSB highlight was meeting them at VIP party at the venue "Rouge!" after the last night of the Release UNI tour in London.
Also there was Janet Street Porter, Dainton, Chris Heath!
I chatted with Neil about "Sexy Northerner" and the other uni gig i went to in Middlesborough (which neil said was the best gig) and later had a bit of a dance with Chris and a young man who was with him.
Discussed my fan site with Chris who was quick to point out that he hated the internet and didn't like fansites anyways!! That ended that conversation lol

What time did they show up? If it was less than 30 mins after I went to the coach station I'll NOT be happy.Trixiemix wrote:Mine is Monday night 8th May 2006 at Radio 2 gig...no doubt about it!!! Meeting them after waiting so long was well worth it
Best time for me was the Performance tour and Release tours as not only did I meet them but the visual spectacle for Performance was brilliant and Release was very relaxed and the way they arranged the songs on that tour were outstanding. But full marks fro best ever moment go to...
BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN
AGBSOLUTELY FANTASTIC The score complements the film perfectly giving it perfect dramatic tension. Musically that is their best concert IMO
It's gonna be alright.
Thank You, Goodnight

I'd list all of the above for myself too. Without a doubt, as Stuart Marconi put it when closing the show ... "I think we've all witnessed something really special here tonight"[/quote]
I would wholeheartedly agree with that. I am still buzzing about it everyone at work is probably sick of me talking about it by now

The 1989 Tour at Glasgow SECC. After the Balenescu Quartet had gone and the bassline of One More Chance kicked in and Neil appeared through the smoke in that spangly coat. Pretty overwhelming for a teenage boy from a small Scottish town who dreamt of the city. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.
Performance at Glasgow SECC. And it was the night before my last University Finals exam. I still went out drinking and dancing afterwards hoping we'd bump into Neil and Chris (we didn't).
The unbelieveable excitement of hearing Can You Forgive Her world premiere first play on Radio 1.
Battleship Potemkin. A truly astonishing event.
And....sorry to brag again....Monday night.
I could go on. PSB have been responsible for so many thrilling events in my life.

We’re different from the others.
No one understands us here.
Imagine how free we will be,
If we disappear?

oct 10 88 - the day introspective was released and hearing Left to my own devices for the first time and spending all morning listening to it again and again, at full volume and dancing deliriously; wembley 89 - wonderful to see them live at last; performance91 was magical as a spectacle and proved why the boys were head and shoulders above their peers; the gig at heaven when the computers crashed and neil ad-libbing....hacienda was a great night - wall to wall hardcore psb fans, sasha dj-ing before hand, totally off my tits
; then met neil at manchester piccadily station the following morning and he invited me for a chat on the train - bliss!
glasto was amazing; we were totally mashed and then saw the chemical brothers - i think.....
