I do like La Mode but PSB are more interesting songwriters because of the diversity of their catalogue. This is perhaps to be expected because PSB are *classic* songwriters in the tradition of mid-20th Century musicals and Tin Pan Alley whereas DM are essentially a bloke with curly hair writing pervy stadium synth anthems. Violator is obviously one of the greatest albums ever but I still prefer Behaviour.
