Heart. In fact, when I hear that song and think of a specific girl, I know that I truly do like her. It's like my acid test.

I could have easy said It Always Comes As A Surprise because it did
But for some reason i said The view from your balcony because no other song sends a shiver down my spine more than this one

Heart is an 'infatuation' song, not 'love'.

Liberation, for sure!
My first boyfriend absolutely hated PSB, and he used to be very cruel about them which hurt me, especially as their music made me so happy. Mind you, he idolised all those angst ridden poseur bands that scream and swear about lost love and girlfriends. Translation - Linkin Park, Nickelback, bla bla bla.
My fiance loves PSB. When we first met one of the first things I asked him was "Have you heard of the Pet Shop Boys?" He thought I was mocking him about his age! He was like "Um, yeah smartass", and I replied with "Umm, they're my favourite band..."

Love Comes Quickly, Hit & Miss or The View from My Balcony. All lovely songs about falling in love. I always thought Falling is more about renewing a relationship gone wrong

And who can blame him?
