England were crap all the tournament anyway, so i do not care that much this time. When we went out 4 years ago we was playing great football and if are bottle had not had gone we would beat Brazil that day and been in the final.

We lost, i am as gutted as the most of the country, its sad that it ended the way it did. You are right about the way we played all tournament. We were dull and never got going..... The BBC have obviously been planning the NUMB video and it would have been played tonight or after the semi or even the final a week on sunday.
Having seen us lose on penalties i felt like kicking the cat or dog that i do not own. The wife has given me room and thankfully did not say "its only a football game"...
.. picture the scene ..... around 16 million people getting exposure to the sad and reflective PSB track with a sad and reflective montage of EN-GER-LANDs highs and lows.
A great TV moment in my opinion. It cheered me up a bit too.
Anyway .... the OP asked has anyone recorded it, i have copied onto DVD and now want to give PSB fans the chance to view it.
As a PSB moment its a good one.
As for the footy memories - i will try and keep the COLE goal and the moment ROONEY came on as sub and the penalty shootout when it looked like we would take the lead and i was already making plans where to watch us play Brazil .......
Roll on Euro 2008 and roll on seeing the boys in Liverpool tomorrow.

Just got back from the pub - gutted at the very least. Didn't see the end of Match Of The Day so I didn't hear Numb. Mates have told me that its on Match Of The Day interactive but I cant bear to watch it all again.
Well as another mate has told me - The game was watched by 25-30 million so a few people might gave heard it!!
Hope you have a great time if you are going to Liverpool and I am seeing them at Thetford in a few weeks!

Numb was great, cheered me up no end.
Weirdly, I said to my girlfriend about 2 weeks ago "I can see them playing Numb to a slow motion footage of England going out" but never for one moment did I think it would actually happen!

Now the question is, did the BBC chop it up themselves or have PSB already made an edit? Do you think PSB worked with them directly?

According to the official overnight viewing figures for the 18:55 to 19:00 timeslot some 11.63 million were watching Numb. Even more will get to see it with the repeat showings on interactive etc.
