We have 2 already. Perhaps a 2006 version of We...All...Feel better...In the darkgomorrah wrote:Being Boring extended mix!
What PSB songs have these?Marcus wrote:I never could stand these TR-909 sounds.
Wo wo wo, easy tiger !!!!One of the crowd wrote:f***ing stupid discussion. Completely pointless. Cant believe so many are discussing it.
Basically, their new material is ace and I suggest the initiator of this thread goes and buys a copy of Fundamental.
There is absolutely no need to revamp any old material for a single release.
two?! I've only heard one extended mix (with the guitar riff).Ronald42 wrote:We have 2 already. Perhaps a 2006 version of We...All...Feel better...In the darkgomorrah wrote:Being Boring extended mix!
I should have written 909 or 909-like sounds. And there are even songs where I like it. If you leave the sounds as they come from the drum machine, it sounds overheard. "It must be obvious" is an example. These masses of unedited claps and snares sound cheap (in my opinion!) In "So Hard" it's ok - the drums fit in the mix. "Delusions of Grandeur" is even a great song. "How I learned to hate R&R" is not so good. Many housy remixes for the Boys have these sounds as well. Before I get dissed for all this - I really like their drums in "Flamboyant", "We all feel better in the dark", "A man could get arrested" (12" mix) and lots of other songs. I am just not a fan of this early 90s dance drum sounds standing out so much. If it's four-to-the-floor it's even worse. "That's my Impression" is four-to-the-floor as well, but the drum sounds are just lush. You see, my taste is a bit hard to define. "Saturday Night Forever" and "Screaming" - bad. "Decadence" and "Minimal" - cool. So the mix and rest of the song also play a role for me.Burj wrote:What PSB songs have these?Marcus wrote:I never could stand these TR-909 sounds.
The remix by Julian Mendelsohn with the LOOOOOONG breakgomorrah wrote:two?! I've only heard one extended mix (with the guitar riff).Ronald42 wrote:We have 2 already. Perhaps a 2006 version of We...All...Feel better...In the darkgomorrah wrote:Being Boring extended mix!
(probably) the snare on Miserabilism and claps on It must be obvious.I've heard that 808 is a drum sound too. Examples?
I own two copies of Fundemental. Lick my reissued, remixed, and re-released balls. One of the crowd wrote:f***ing stupid discussion. Completely pointless. Cant believe so many are discussing it.

Some on Behaviour sound like TR-808: "Only the Wind" (I love it), "To Face the Truth". "Don Juan" also sounds like it - one of my favourite b-sides.Burj wrote:Thanks. I've heard that 808 is a drum sound too. Examples?
