Wouldn't it be more of a new recording of the song than a remix if these bands (yes,
bands) should "remix" it? I mean, they would add lots of heavy guitars, and probably new drums and bass too... what's left of the PSB recording then? Neil's vocals backed up my Aerosmith?
And Bonnie Tyler, isn't she just a singer? I bet she can't mix a track.

Well they might be "bands" but does that limit them to doing "bandy" things like sex, drugs and rock n' roll??? Bonnie is so much more than a vocalist she once won a contest for the most bowls of cereal consumed in 15 mins.

I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult for her to use the UMyx software...

I think that would be below her to be honest. She's a perfectionist.

Well how about Frankie Knuckles. His mix of unbreak my heart was more of a radio smash than the original.

Bonnie Tyler could do a cracking remix, she's got epic talent!!!
I bet Whitney Houston could do a CRACKing remix too...

No need to drag this thread into the gutter.

Nah it was all Bonny! As for Aerosmith, they once remixed Aphex Twin but Richard D James felt the remix was a little too experimental and decided against releasing it.
Indeed, and the remix was actually a bit of a cracker as proven by the internet leaks of it. Based on that mix, I wouldn't hesitate for one minute to get Aerosmith to remix Numb.

I'd like an Afterlife Mix and maybe a Thriller Jil Mix

There haven't been any remixes worth listening to since the 80's.
They'd only give Numb a trance acid disco dance dub club mix , which just would not do.
Please leave well alone.

I'd like Stevie Wonder to remix it. It could be titled the Numb (Not Def & Dumb Mix).
