I really hope that tour will be released on DVD. I've seen it for the second time in Leuven and it really is a gorgeous piece of scenography. There isn't much to listen to (especially since the sound was horrible : the bass sounds were way too loud, especially during the first half of the show) but there is always things to see and to watch.

We were standing right in front of the right speakers and there was a lot of feedback (this is me trying to pretend I know anything at all about this kind of stuff, "feedback, yeah sure"), the basses were terrible, but to be honest, it didn't really bother me. I was blown away, truly.

Before the show I had this fear of a load of drunk people shouting obscenities at the stage (especially since they were on after crowd favourite Daan), but I didn't need to worry.
I really hope they make this show into a DVD as well: the choreography, the backdrops, the singers and dancers, it was at times hilarious and beautiful.

Speaking of the singers and dancers, does anyone know who they were or how they came to be on tour with the PSB?

Who is Daan by the way? I'd never heard of him before and turned up expecting some dodgy French/Flemish chanson, but was pleasantly surprised. I'm still not sure what language he was singing in, although there seemed to be some English mixed in mutterings.

I was standing in the middle further back. The sound seemed okay to me, but the crowd was a bit inert in my section.

Daan is a Flemish singer, makes electropop and is huuuuuuuge in Flanders. He sang one french song (jamais neutral), the rest was all English. Hard to believe, isn't it. To be honest I think he was completely drunk

Where I was standing the crowd went mad. That being said, I was standing at the side, next to the pubs. Ahem. I heard the crowd go mad for Left to My own Devices already, but I guess it depends on who was surrounding you.

If you go to Marktrock.be, to "programma" and then click on Pet Shop Boys, you can find some photos, the most ridiculous review ever ("Pet Shop Boys' lyrics are about nothing really" -> obviously she thinks Shopping was about H&M...) and a very very bad interview.
"You're also very politically aware... the world is burning at the moment... can you give us a comment on that?"
Neil: "erm... that's a little bit too complicated to go into"
Priceless!

Also, I think some of the press don't know who Chris is... the vrtnieuws website (flemish tv) says "both boys changed outfits ten times".... erm.... From what I know Chris only moved his hands during the show, let alone changing oufits!

Cool, thanks. I'd seen posters of him around before, but never knew what he sounded like. I thought his band sounded great, but didn't have a clue what he was singing. As you say, he was probably a bit out of it.

That's funny about the press comments. Thanks for tip, I didn't realize there was some extra stuff in the"programma" section. The interview is funny. I really enjoyed last night and it was great to see the crowd getting into the new songs as well.

It was great to hear the songs from the new album. They fitted very well into the setlist. S&G Show and Integral got great receptions. The crowd was a bit slow to warm up (Psychological is a bit of a strange opener), but they really seemed to get into the swing of things from Always on my mind onwards.

One of the dansers is since the beginning dancing with PSB IMO. I recognized him from other performances. And the others... maybe from the Madonnatour? They were very good, always nice to see that sort of gymnastics.

Interview is nice, review is.. is... who the hell she thinks she is? Diana? Jesus christ. Could't they find someone with a little knowledge of PSB to write a review?
