In the midweeks chart of the Top 40. As he is selling double anyone else, it looks like he'll stay there on Sunday.
Oh, ok. I had read in Music Week that in the current chart Justin entered on downloads only at #13 selling 11,015 so that had me confused...

Exactly. If Minimal is at 19 i reckon Numb will do well to go top 30. It's a track i quite listening to on the album but that's because i'm a huge fan..

Play it to non fans and the reaction in no way gives encouragement for it's single release.

Now had it been a different version on a double A side..
Minimal is a superb track, but the reality is (I grudgingly admit) "Numb" makes sense. A corking b-side would be a sweetener for the fans, mind you.

The double A side idea was the original intention....... 'Im With Stupid/Numb' replaced Minimal as the first track from the album....

I too doubt it will get into the Top 20.....however, pigs may fly!
And you say you never believed in luck

This is wrong. EMI/Parlophone making their minds-up (how Very Bucks Fizz) over single choice. Never a double AA.

Wasn't there a 2-tk "double a-side" promotional single with radio edits mentioned at some point early on in the Fundamental campaign? I think it was listed on Gardner's discography but then it disappeared?

Retro. :)

Perhaps.

Hypothetically, it could do *much* better than we think due to the World Cup exposure.

The PSB segment was seen by how many people??? You can't pay for that kind of promotion.

And probably hated at the time and probably not wanted to be remembered for the connection?
