Holland is an inconsequential record sales market and PSB an inconsequential act within. Go to Germany, download from itunes (etc) or get it sent mail order.

Actually I already went to Germany last weekend, without success! Perhaps PSB want me to resign as a fan? What's the plan? It seems I have to get through more and more trouble finding a regular, current PSB single. Shame.

BTW: I refuse to pay for mp3 downloads.

Maybe you should. You'd have less in your life to be embittered by.

Oh, that's new to me!

I'm prepared to buy PSB cd-singles and albums in record stores, I will even travel for it , if necessary. If unavailable I will order stuff (which is what I'm doing at the moment when it comes to Numb), but if all my attempts to buy Numb fail, I'm certainly NOT going to buy mp3 downloads online.

Unlike you, I don't plan to be a slave of record companies, rather than a music consumer.

*yawn* I always do so with PSB releases and many other releases as well, with a cd collection of way more than 1000 cd's. I am willing to pay for Numb cd2 and even cd1, but I'm not going to pay money to download a bunch of mp3's.

I need somebody to confirm or deny that Numb was/wasn't released in the Netherlands. To my best knowledge, Numb was NOT released here: EMI even stated so. But a fellow fan claims that cd2 was released in the Netherlands.

Does anybody know?

When CD's came out did you refuse to buy them and stick with vinyl or cassettes?

You were reacting to a very old comment I made, almost a year ago. But it's still very valid: I'm not a slave of the record industry. I will NEVER be paying money for mp3's.

It's not called progress, it's called laziness: record companies wanting to earn money without giving a decent product in return. When CD's were released, it was an improvement in sound quality (for approximately 99% of all music buyers).

Mp3's are one step BACK in sound quality, since the sound is compressed. Mp3's are computer files, not products. Even if you buy computer software, you get original cd's, packaging, etc.

As for the answer to my question: the psb-catalogue website states that several of the Numb formats where printed in the Netherlands. Yet this doesn't mean these cd-singles were widely available in the Netherlands. See the "London" single, for instance. Formats printed in NL, but not available in Dutch shops.

Like I wrote earlier in this topic, some of contacts informed me that "Numb" was NOT going to be released in NL. I simply need to know if it actually wasn't released, or that 1-2 formats found their way to Dutch shops.
