Dear lord, how utterly boring (read crap).
I'll just repeat what I said: can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

I love it, i really like Louise as well (not relevant but just thought i'd add my two cents worth).
Was really surprised with we're the pet shop boys as well, it's better than "Our" version

Oops... my apologies Steve. I sincerely didn't realize when I copied that link from the other forum. I will pay attention better next time.

Much to my surprise, Dutch Radio 2, the most popular radio station in this country, played She's Madonna this afternoon. The DJ didn't mention PSB producing it, but did tell that it's a new track on Robbie's album.

Just heard the track
It's great! For me the greatest thing are the verses, (strangely enough it sounds like something I once wrote), I say bring on an entire PSB+Robbie album! It's time they did an all male-album.

I find that it reminds me of a 'Take That' reunion song!
Don't get me wrong, That Take were great 90's pop.
We're The Pet Shop Boys could have sounded a bit more Robbie ish.

Bump.
Could some kind soul who bought Rudebox pass on the writing/production details for "She's Madonna" and "We're the Pet Shop Boys"? I downloaded those two songs (legally, I hasten to add) rather than buy the whole album and it'd be nice to put the details on a proper sleeve for them ...

"She's Madonna" is good. Sounds like the Pet Shop Boys not Robbie.
Which it probably why it is good. His cover of Stephen Duffy's "Kiss
Me" is bad. Bad. Bad.
Robbie Williams.. There is an air of homosexual about him. Hawt!

I'm a minor fan but I don'tfind this "ir" hot because he parades and hints at it every chance he gets in the media so that it seems desperate to just keep gay fans hoping he might be. (Among other stunts liek his weird completely nude video file for his last labum)
But I love half the album and LOVE She's Madonna--killer chords in the verses. His We're the PEt Shop Boys is decent, the production is a tiny improvement on the bside version but it's still an odd choice to cover.
If this song does get a single release will we get a bside of a third Robby/PSB collaboration??
