It's really weird for me to see people sitting during a pop or rock concert, I could never do that. But I have never been to a venue where they have seats in front of the stage anyway.

Ya, it was much more energetic when they played at the Warehouse in 1999... no seats, club atmosphere, everyone dancing around from the very beginning... it was a smaller venue but there was definitely more energy. Plus we were all younger then and could bounce around more lol!
