Thanks for noticing. I kept some chords the same, but changed the accompanying bass note to the same as the chord (which sometimes the boys dont do, for example: Red Letter Day, Album version vs Motiv8 single version), not many 3rd or 5th bass notes for me :)

Also changed the chords a little in the chorus.

Also, i re-arranged the vocals a little...

The first chorus vocals aren't used. The 2nd chorus, I used as the 1st chorus, and used the 3rd chorus as the 2nd chorus, and didn't have a 3rd chorus... I like the different ending and the fade ^^

Thanks :D And, how is Can you forgive her? in 12/8? Isn't it 6/8? its sounds a lot like 6/8?

Thanks. And, don't worry, if I make more PSB Remixes, they will be posted here ^^

Thanks, sky high. Yeah, Its pretty relaxing and chill-out-ish... so, I didn't put too much going on, until the "out of my head, loosing my mind" part...

Ok, ok... it's a downtempo remix, which can explain it all.

Anyway your remixes is really weel done! It could be a second demo version.

Thanks a lot! :D
Thanks ^^ yeah, I think there are enough 4/4 fanmixes out there, but nothing that sticks to the 6/8 time signature... so, decided to that instead. A second demo version? haha ^^ Is that a good thing? 8)

The difference is quite easy to prove... Try counting to 12 ( | _1_ 2 3 4 5 6 |_7_ 8 9 10 11 12 ) [or 1 to 6 twice (_1_ 2 3 4 5 6 | _1_ 2 3 4 5 6)] within the first bar of Can you forgive her?. The difference between 12/8 and 6/8 is, quite obviously, the faster tempo. Numb is a living proof of 6/8 [a pop waltz, if you may], and Can you forgive her? the same of 12/8. And if I remember correctly, 12/8 of Can you forgive her? is also the given (correct) tempo in the Very sheet music book.

What I'm trying to "prove" is that 12/8 is easier than 6/8 to make a 4/4 dance track of, due to its faster tempo.

Tempo has nothing to do with time signature... i know the difference between 12/8 and 6/8... Can you forgive her? was easier to remix, because of its speed, but, not because of its time signature... I just don't agree with you that CYFG is 12/8... anyway, i think we agree to disagree on this one ^^ hehe

well... i could say, I think you're wrong, but where would that get us? I could also say, read the booklet for the Very/Further Listening. If my remember correctly, the boys mention that it is in 6.8 time...

just a difference of opinion ^^ Anyway, its just a song :D

Sorry djandyman, I've had to remove the link. Copyrighted materials in public and all that.

Ermmmm... I've never been asked that! As long as you don't make it obvious it's leading to an MP3 or otherwise illegal / copyrighted content file, then I can't see the harm. You will just have to be creative. ;)

lol... okay, thanks Steve

if people read this, and email me (not a PM connected to the forum) asking me for the URL, is that a problem?
