A new album is some way off I suspect. They started writing Nightlife in the summer of 1997 but it didn't actually come out until October 1999. The first bit of studio work they did for Bilingual was in New York in the summer of 1994 but the actual album didn't get released until September 1996.
I suspect we have another two years, at least, until a new record. If the ballet becomes a reality then it could be another three years until we get a proper PSB album. There was an article in the Sunday Times a few weeks back about gay ballet version of Romeo & Juliet (to be called 'Romeo & Romeo', apparently). It has certainly got me worried that PSB might be involved in some way. Maybe that is the album Chris is referring to???!!!

New album may be a kind of "Introspective" - the couple of new songs, the couple of unreleased (don't you forget about Fugitive 7"?

), few extended mixes or reworked b-sides, from last albums - et voila... Ism 2?

The opening moments of our conversation are a scattergun spray of what he knows about Nottingham.
"So, is it big for stag dos? Is it because Dublin banned them?" he asks.
"We stayed in a really nice hotel last time (when they played in 2002), a boutique one. I can't remember the name now. Yes, that's it, the Lace Market Hotel. I hope we stay there again."
Then, tongue planted firmly in cheek, he asks: "So is it really the gun capital of the UK?
"Are we going to be safe?"
*laughs Nottingham-born ass off* Well, at least Nottingham's number one at something!
A forthcoming tour of China - their first visit - offers something new.
"Perhaps we could make a human rights album," he jokes. "To be honest, though, we don't know what we'll find. Perhaps there'll be an underground electronic scene."
They're playing in China??

Thanks for posting these interviews. Does this officially make him a grouch?
I saw that Word magazine say that their PSB cover issue (a year or so ago) is one of their best selling ever. Hopefully that means they'll be keen to feature PSB again.

Neil posted the interview back on the official site, or was it there in first place? I can't remember now.
