if I dont blast right thru it and get it done in one quick run,I get bored really quickly and walk away from the track and then when I come back say a couple weeks later alot of times I lost the groove or just plain dont like it anymore.
but I guess the fun of having your own studio is the ability to just roll out of bed and work on stuff at your leisure.. can you imagine these artists that go into studios with nothing and write stuff there paying hundreds an hour? wow. and in alot of cases they come up with stuff that is really lacking. such as metallica's last CD.
I'm still new to this. I only recently learned about the importance of mastering!

Mastering is dead hard.

I thought I'd provide some feedback on the more technical aspects of your work (I'm no master of this myself, but can usually hear mistakes in other peoples work).
Beauty On The Fire:
There are a few mixing issues here. The Kick drum is MUCH too loud in the mix - cut it by 4 db or more. Infact, I think you could pick a more slamming kick sound with more top end in the first place. The bassline muddies up the track, give it an eq cut in the lower frequencies or choose a brighter sound.
Falling For You
The lead synth could do with an EQ boost around 5 Khz I think or a cut in the lower frequencies. Again the bass appears quite muddy. Give your vocals a notch more compression. Good song, BTW.
If Your Love Is Real
This track is clipping (distorting). Watch out for that! Excessive use of autotune here, I think. The tune is good - deserves more work!
It Feels So Cold
As I've said before, this is very good indeed. I'd like to hear a version that sounds less like German 90's dance, though.
In general I think you could work with EQ to greater effect. Also, you could cut down on the amount of reverb used. What kind of equipment do you use?
