Would it not be easier to just call it "The Erasure Thread"?

I dub this thread the Unofficially Official Erasure thread (With 10% Extra Bickering). Anyway, the odds are in :-

Locked in 3-4 pages 7-4 fav.
Locked in 5-6 pages 5-1
Locked in 7-10 pages 30-1
Topic Remains unlocked 1,000,000-1

Anyway, on a different note and to keep this from degenerating into a personal mudslinging contest, my top ten quintessential Erasure tracks are, in no particular order....

Drama
Ship of Fools
Blue Savannah
Home
Hideaway (Little Louie Vega Mix)
When I Needed You
A Little Respect
Sweet Surrender
Hallowed Ground
Crown of Thorns

Looks like a fantastic show :D
Homer, I would think that by now you would have figured out that this is not the place to talk about Erasure. But you can do whatever you want, if you want to continue to get controversy here, then its fine. There are so many other places where you can discuss them.

I'd rather we attempt a proper official Erasure thread. From scanning previous threads, I'd say the mods are too hands-off when it comes to users just spamming the topic with their own agenda of one-upmanship and bating and what happens is a pointless slanging match between 2 or 3 users dragging the thread down. At some point a line needs to be drawn in the sand where enough is enough.

Too true and a good idea, there seems to be a few sad people out there that see the word erasure and start coming out with the usual crap. Obviously nothing better to do with their time.

Please stick to the erasure haters thread as you are ruining it for the people that want to talk about erasure, and sorry but we have the right to. Fine you do not like erasure (good for you) and we know that now so why not go and do something b etter with your time than ruin these threads. God it's like trying to talk to children!

Yet you seem happy for Erasure fans to come on here and throw personal insults all over the place.

Also, Fugitive decided to post his best 10 songs and still get a leary reply from PSBGirl

Well, yes, not sure if the 'all the oldies as usual' comment is meant to be sarcastic but thought it might be interesting to see what PSB fans see as their top 10 Erasure tracks. Popular consensus is that their best work is the early stuff, I can't really disagree. I'd say the same about PSB as well.

Any passive Erasure fan should check out the Grid remix of Am I Right ? it's one of those rare remixes that improves on the original in virtually every way, though it does lose that slightly eerie quality of the original in favour of a more uptempo mix of the song. Forgot how good it was after listening to some Chorus further listening tracks.

Frequency and JSDOUVRES I am with both of you as I am an Erasure fan too. But if I want to discuss them I do it elsewhere like on my forum or on official Erasure forum. Here you just get slagging off by the usual suspects. If both of you and Homer would rather discuss them here, like I said its up to you.
