It's produced exactly like Domino Dancing and some of the other t5racks on the first West End girls album. I'm sure it'll grow massively on me, since I have a soft spot for West End girls, but her accent really IS annoying on this.

I have to agree with the statements on her accent and singing style.
Listening to this really reminded me of what a great song this is. When the chorus starts up, I got a little rush…

Thanks for reminding me of a song I had forgotten... too bad it's crap! The group was called Peaches.

Hope this isn't too boring, but I amended above what bugs me so much about this sloppy cover, namely that it runs roughshod over the lyrical key phrase.
"How'm I going to get through" is interesting colloquial English in the original. LOADED with deep meaning, however- how shall I survive, (possibly) financially? It's the lament of the abandoned mistress, addresed to the rich man who's been keeping her. It's the key lyric that personifies the song.
"How I'm gonna.." is just sloppy and wrong, she strips all meaning from the lyric. There isn't the slightest evidence of awareness about this subtle lyric she's shouting about.
She could be braying anything, senselessly. Why do they bother? PSB and West End girls's management probably take 75% of their royalties on their horrible cover versions, anyway.

I actually like it overall. The music was good, and I also liked the end part put at the beginning. That was pretty interesting idea and it worked.
