Wilders has every right to be critical about holy books and about the islam. Religious people can also say all kinds of things about women, gays, etc. When they do so, they just refer to their holy book. The opinion of an atheist is NOT less important as the opinion of a religious person.

For the record, I think Wilders is a bell-end, but if anyone is going to cause a riot because of something he says or writes, that's a problem with those people, not with him.

Also, how many people here who are criticising Wilders have actually seen Fitna, and are even qualified to criticise him?

I share this opinion. I'm also no Wilders-fan and I think he's overreacting. But he should have the freedom to travel and the freedom to give his opinion. But fear for intolerant muslims dominates the UK decision not to let him in.

Why do they misintepret the Koran? It's just their version. They read want they want to read, they ignore what they want to ignore. That's the hypocrisy of religion summarized in 1 sentence. Fitna is not a movie where Wilders shows hatred towards muslims. In fact, it's nothing more than a poor compilation of hateful muslims, saying intolerant things. Any muslim who's mad about this movie should direct his/her anger to their religous 'brothers' who said these things.

Wilders doesn't insult muslims, he's just critical about the islam as a religion. And it's his full right to be critical.

I've not really bothered with this story but it does seem that this guy has got a lot more publicity by being refused entry anyway. After all, his film is widely available on the net.
