I'm certainly no Bush fan, but if I have to choose between "criminal" and "hero", I'd call him a criminal. The guy abused his position as a journalist to do something that's illegal. He broke the law and showed to be a bad, prejuidiced journalist.

"Criminal" is a very big word, 3 years in prison is way too long, but calling him a "hero" is insane.

I am abstaining, because although he is a criminal, he shouldn't be locked up for what he did. Neither is he a hero, but I certainly do wish that I had done it.

thats the scary thing.....the "journalist" very well would have used a weapon for lack of being able to get one in what with security.he used his shoe, you laugh but you wouldnt be laughing it you got hit with a hard object thrown point blank. in fact.....you'd probably want the thrower to have the book thrown at him and then you'd sue.


anyways patrick what would you think that me showing up at your workplace shouting at you and throwing a couple of my shoes point blank at you, what would they charge me with?

Being a pain in the ass, probably. But I doubt you'd do three days in jail, let alone three years. Everyone needs to get a grip.

I really wouldnt care if it was some widow, or someone who lost a close loved one in the invasion, I get it.. but this proffesional full grown man who is employed as a journalist....enjoy the jailhouse falafels Mr seasoned reporter.

If only he first threw that shoe and then shouted, the shoe would connect with the ugly smirking face of Bush and the world could be a better place then

I give you that... the shoe guy wasnt the brightest....well thats a given... but the most enjoyingly delicious part of this is he tried to injure Bush a foriegner.... and as it turns out the only one injured was himself when he was given a right proper thrashing by his fellow Iraqi when he was taken into custody.

saddam was put to death in Iraq. now, I'm not a lawyer, that is to say I dont know whats legal or whats not legal as far as court proceedings or what makes an illegal trial or legal one... I just know in this case I dont really give a camels ass.
